Press Regulations

The accredited person is entitled to represent his or her organization at sports events by respecting the rules and ethical rules defined by the competition organizers. 

Accreditation requires online registration HERE and on-site registration. 

The media accreditation card (MEDIA PASS) can only be received by the person registered during the online media accreditation at the Accreditation Center during the ON-SITE REGISTRATION upon presentation of a valid press pass or a recommendation from the head of the institution or editor-in-chief and an identification card suitable for personal identification. 

ATTENTION! Accreditation is not transferable. It can only be used by the accredited person in the areas where accredited persons are authorized to work. 

The person registered during the media registration may only move in the specified event areas. His right to this is guaranteed by his accreditation card, which he wears continuously and clearly (hanging around his neck) during his work and in the event area. 

Accredited persons may enter the area reserved for the media only in order to perform their media-related duties, by presenting their accreditation card. 

Accredited media employees may use the press area established at the competition venues and the event's central media office. We will send their opening hours and services to the accredited media employees. 

The organizing committee has the right (if justified) to refuse media accreditation, or to withdraw it in case of a serious violation of the Press Regulations! We will immediately revoke the accreditation of media workers who are under the influence of alcohol at matches. 

Accredited media employees are obliged to behave in a way that serves the good reputation of EUC 2023 Miskolc, the sport and the sponsors, the University of Miskolc and its sports club MEAFC, the city and the media. In the course of their work, in addition to EUSA and sports standards, they are obliged to comply with the general behavioral and work requirements. 

In Hungary, the 2010. CIV Act (on freedom of the press and basic rules of media content) stipulates, among other things, the basic rules of media content, the basic rights and obligations of media content providers and the public, which are binding on accredited media workers during and at the locations of this competition, and for those performing media activities (content production) related to the event. 

 Press rights are considered property rights and are the property of MEAFC. 

 All accredited media workers are obliged to send links to all content published (published) about the event to the email address...  

Accredited media employees, as well as those present at the event locations, acknowledge and accept that pictures, audio and film recordings may be made at the events, in which they may also appear, which are the property of MEAFC. 

By accepting the press regulations, the media employees treat the electronic access received in connection with the event as confidential, and use the media content they create only for the purpose of media communication. 

The data provided during the press regulations are handled in accordance with the MEAFC's Data Management Information and are handled in accordance with the law. 

According to Hungarian law, the consent of the person in the photo is not required to take the photo, if a photo of a crowd has been taken and the photo captures the event in its overall effect and does not single out anyone from the crowd. Therefore, only crowd photos can be taken. If a photo is taken that individually depicts the person in the recording, the person who took the photo must ask for the consent of the person in the photo for both the storage and use of the photo. In case of failure to do so, the legal responsibility rests with the photographer. 

The accredited media worker has accepted these Press Regulations with the online accreditation.
