FIRST DAY OF COMPETITION

We're done with the first day of competitions at the European Universities Badminton and Water Polo Championship in Miskolc.

The Brits are showing their dominance in badminton, while it seems like the Hungarian youngsters are writing the script in water polo.

The competition kicked off with the badminton matches at the DVTK Arena. The team battles started at 9:00 AM and concluded in the evening. Among the matches played on six courts, the team from the University of Nottingham stood out, as they defeated both of their opponents by a score of 5-0. The Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, the University of Warwick, and the Technological University of Dublin also didn't make any mistakes on the first day. Among the local participants, the Hungarian University of Sport Science and the University of Pécs each won one match.
