During the team battles in badminton on the second day, the team of University of Nottingham once again won with a score of 5-0, maintaining their unbeaten record. They won all three matches in the group stage with a 100% performance.

In the afternoon, the playoffs and semifinals of the badminton team competition took place with exciting matches. The Nottingham team continued to deliver convincing performances, defeating the team from the Technological University of Dublin and securing their place in the Sunday final. Their opponent will be University of Warwick, setting up a British home final.

During the Saturday group stage matches of men's water polo, two Hungarian showdowns took place. The first one was won by the undefeated team from Corvinus University, defeting University of Debrecen. In the other match, University of Pécs played against Corvinus University, with the final score of 18:11.

University of Bristol earned its first victory, as the team defeated Delft University of Technology with the final score of 8-4.

Group matches continue on Sunday

The water polo group stage matches will continue on Sunday, starting with the derby between Delft University of Technology and University Pécs at 12:30 pm.
